Tiago Prado was born in Goiás, Brazil, and moved to the United States as a child with his mother, in search of a life with more opportunity and security. Arriving with only an eighth grade education, he worked as a waiter, bartender, car salesman and apprentice car technician to support himself.
A turning point came when mentor Chuck W. Joyce believed in his aptitude and sponsored a College Algebra course at the Harvard Extension Summer Program. Tiago went on to earn his GED and enroll at Bunker Hill Community College, where he met Eucimar. There he served as a Student Government Senator, founded the college’s first Mathematics Club and was elected Student Trustee, which earned him a seat on Governor Patrick’s Health Care Steering Committee. Through the trustee council he met Rodolpho, who influenced his decision to attend Tufts University on scholarship, where he studied economics with a minor in entrepreneurship and leadership.
After a career in finance, the loss of his cousin in a car accident showed Tiago how devastating a lack of insurance knowledge can be for a family. That experience led to Breezy Seguros, an insurance brokerage committed to selling insurance you can truly understand. In 2021 he received the James O. Herrick Jr. Memorial Young Agent of the Year Award from the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents.
Eucimar Raposo
CTO & Co-Founder
Eucimar Raposo was born in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, a city famous for the number of its residents who have made a new home in the United States. He became interested in computers at an early age and took his first data processing course at just 14, which sparked a passion for programming while the industry was still in its infancy in Brazil. That early start led to an internship at WKVE, a company of the UOL Group.
In 2002 he moved to the United States with his family and, like so many immigrants, started over from scratch. In 2007 he fulfilled his dream of returning to school at Bunker Hill Community College, where he met Tiago, taking classes while working to pay his own way. He graduated in 2010 and went on to work as a web developer for several companies.
Eucimar is the co-founder of BRZ Insurance and brought it to a level of technology never seen before. He has implemented many innovations in the insurance industry that made BRZ Insurance one of a kind.
Rodolpho Sanz
President, CRO & Co-Founder
Rodolpho Sanz is the son of a Peruvian father and a Brazilian mother and was born in Newark, New Jersey. At age 6 his family’s home was destroyed by a fire, and he saw firsthand what it means to lose almost everything without the right insurance coverage.
A graduate of MassBay Community College, he earned his BA in economics and international relations from Tufts University, where he met Tiago, and later an MBA in Project Management from FGV IBS in Brazil. As a student he was active in social initiatives and nonprofit programs, and received the CRC Press Chemistry Achievement Award for the top chemistry student at his college.
After Tufts, Rodolpho led projects in Brazil and Peru. One of them was recognized by the UN and presented at the Palace of Nations in Geneva as one of the 60 best sustainable projects to be replicated worldwide, endorsed by UNECE. Driven to serve the LatinX community, he co-founded Breezy Seguros with a mission to help 1,000,000 Latinx people achieve and protect their American dream.
